K & R Property Investors is a small family run business that has always been in the property industry.

Welcome to K&R Investors! We are a small, family run business, which have forever been part of the property industry.

It all started with Richard, who was in his late teens, starting his career as a ceiling contractor and swiftly moving on to work for a company assisting in the maintenance of housing in and around London. This gave Richard the experience, coupled with sheer determination to progress, to set up his own business in property maintenance with the focus on both commercial and residential dwellings.

Richard grew his business overtime and ensuring its success when he decided he could offer his knowledge and experience elsewhere. Selling his business in 2013 Richard invested in a construction company to oversee and focus on its growth.

5 years down the line, having successfully shown growth and expansion in this venture it was time for change and a slightly slower pace of life!

In the background to all his work, in 2011, Richard had started to build a portfolio of rental properties and he soon decided to buy more to renovate and sell.

At this very point Richard’s youngest son, Kieran, had finished his studies and proved himself to be a very practical worker, hands on, with a great eye for detail. All these qualities went hand in hand with renovations of properties and so he embarked on working alongside Richard in transforming properties. Kieran now is taking tired/dated houses, re-designing them, stripping and turning them into beautiful homes that are practical for the modern day living.

With a few properties renovated the father/son duo both agreed this was the direction they could both expand and work together on, so on the 10th April  2023, K&R Investors was formed.

There has been steady growth since, allowing time to find their feet as a small family business but there is no doubt about it, the buy to renovate and sell has been thriving and more properties continue to be added to their portfolio.

Meet the K&R team

Richard

Managing Director

As Managing Director of K & R Property Investors Ltd, Richard is responsible for sourcing properties to renovate and sell, as well as those to refurbish and retain as rental investments. He oversees the legal process for each transaction and maintains strong relationships with funders and mortgage brokers to ensure finance is in place for swift completions.

Kieran

Project Director

As Project Director of K & R Property Investors Ltd, Kieran is responsible for developing and overseeing renovation programmes that transform tired properties into revitalised homes. He manages his in-house team and coordinates subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.

Shelby

Property Manager

As our Property Manager, Shelby oversees the daily operations of our rental and sales portfolio, as well as any new projects currently underway. She manages day-to-day maintenance matters, ensures all properties are effectively advertised and marketed, and conducts regular inspections to maintain high standards. Shelby also makes sure all compliance certificates are kept up to date and serves as the main point of contact for both tenants and landlords.

Vikki

Accounts Manager

As our Accounts Manager, Vikki is responsible for overseeing the company’s day-to-day financial operations, including managing banking transactions, processing supplier invoices, and coordinating end-of-month payments. She ensures accurate financial record-keeping and helps maintain smooth cash flow across all projects.

Jimmy

Site Manager

As our Site Manager, Jimmy is responsible for the day-to-day operations on site, ensuring that all works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with the project schedule. He coordinates trades and subcontractors, monitors progress against the programme, and maintains quality control throughout each stage of the build.

James and Alfie

General Labourer/improver

As our general labourers/improvers, James and Alfie support the team with a wide range of day-to-day tasks on site. They assist trades where needed, manage and organise material deliveries, and ensure all work areas are kept clean, safe, and tidy to help projects run efficiently.
